Sometimes my heart wants to burst with delight
Soaring, a beauty-filled gratitude flight
This world is so perfect in every which way
The sights, sounds and tastes, such a varied array
Of intricate details for us to enjoy
The rivers and oceans, my heart sails, ahoy!
The forests and the fields, oh so lush and alive,
Bright colours of which we are never deprived
Kinfolk and friends who all touch my life
Smiles and laughter, tantrums and strife
A palette of emotions all mine to explore
New pathways appearing through each open door
Intimacy showing me love’s tender truth
Divine love in action, each person is proof
